Local volunteers
Not only do we see the enormous impact that locals make as they can fully engage with, and understand the children, we feel that it's important for people to give something back to their local community.
If you live in Ghana and would like to spare a few hours a week to volunteer, we would love to hear from you. We have had a number of local university students volunteer by teaching literacy in our after school classes and they thoroughly enjoyed it, whilst gaining skills and experience for future career plans. international volunteers
Ghana is an extremely friendly and peaceful country, with hospitable locals, children who will approach you with a beaming grin and lots of historical and cultural roots. It has lively cities as well as relaxing beaches and vast national parks.
